I applied for the Customer Service position which offered a $60,000 - $120,000 salary but in the back of my mind I kept telling myself that this job is way to good to be true... unfortunately, I was right. The first red flag was that my interview was done via the Hangout app through text. I was hired two days later without anyone from the "company" ever talking to me or seeing me in person. Then I was told that this was a stay at home job and the funds for the software and equipment needed to set up a mini office(including a laptop, desk and chair) would all be provided by the company. So they emailed me a check which they wanted me to deposit in my bank account then use that money to then pay their vendors for the equipment. My suspicions increased so I did some investigating. I decided to go to their physical address provided online and was lead to a Dollar General store and I also called the bank to verify the check that they emailed and was told that there was no account. Anyone reading this...THIS IS A SCAM company. Do not apply, do not accept their offer, and do not pass go because there is no $200!
They are con artists trying to use the situation to get money from you. Their place must be not Florida but a prison. Pure cheating and lie including the first hello and the last goodbye. Don't believe not a word - even a letter they a promissing you. They are so bad that even on a con-artist competition they would get the last position because they are that bad. Filing them to FBI site and the internet customers protection file plus all around social media! Fraud!!! Pity I can't publish here the fake check they mailed me or screen shots of our negotiations after. They must be in prison! Be very careful with them
Do not share any personal information with them. It's a scam. They would claim to have a software developer position for you in Tampa or remote for TCS/Tata Consultancy Services. They would ask for your personal information including social security number and your citizenship documents in an email to you even before you have any job offer! Report the nearest police cyber crimes department as I did.
Legend Solutions Location is at Tampa, FL. they tried to scam me, sending me checks to deposit which take 10 days to clear then asking me to pay their vendors with MY MONEY!! They are Disgusting people to waste my time and specially when I am struggling. The checks they sent me I verified FRAUDULENT by calling the banks directly myself. John Harevel with Legend Solutions pitches good! And this guy- Ramit Arora was a point person. So, John Harevel send me a check for $4,900.00! Then asks me to come out of pocket to pay a vendor. NEVER DO THAT since your bank will clear the check for you In good faith before it technically clears which is how “legendary” scammers come at you since it appears the check is good. I knew better and went straight to the branch manager. Be for-warned. I turned them into the FBI but they are loaded with cases.
