If you are debating between another class prep and this one, you might as well stop the search now. I had never taken the LSAT or any training for it before this prep course and within only ONE MONTH my score went up 10 points! The staff is beyond helpful and so nice. They truly care about each of their students. They will get you the LSAT score you want without a doubt if you put in your time. Not only do they get you a good LSAT score to get into law school, but they go above and beyond for applying too. They help walk you through the entire application process and how to stand out to law schools! The professor is truly amazing at what she does and is the kindest lady ever. They also have private tutors for extra help and any other resource to make sure you succeed in law school. Best decision I ever made was taking this course over any other I promise! Such a great team and you are guaranteed to improve and get into law school! Oh and if all that didn’t sell you enough yet, they also have cookies and beverages for every class meeting!! :) If I could rate Blackstone Prep 10 stars I would!
Hallie is so unbelievably helpful! She is really thorough when explaining the material and makes sure you're comfortable in case you have any questions. If you engage with the material and Hallie as she's teaching then you will gain exceptionally more from the program. The amount of material you will receive from Blackstone can seem overwhelming, however you'll develop an affinity for trying more and more questions. Also, if you have any questions about something, Hallie is a quick phone call or text away if you need anything. The material you learn is directly from previous LSAT's and the way Blackstone structures the course will have you properly prepared. My advice would be to definitely attend the class in-person if you are able to. If you are unable to attend the class in-person, the zoom option they offer is great too. Classes do go by quick, but you are constantly learning transferable skills to apply directly to your official LSAT test!
They helped my score increase 21 points!!!!!! And I had a pretty significantly low score before I began studying. I had given up on going to law school 8 years ago. However, despite all the panic and anxiety — my score increased thanks to Hallie and Blackstone’s courses!! I got accepted into 6 out of the 8 law schools that I applied to and I received scholarship offers from all 6 schools!!!! Blackstone Prep did an outstanding job preparing me for the LSAT! I jumped 16 points from my diagnostic test (pre-Blackstone) to my actual exam (post-Blackstone). They taught me how to tackle every type of question that the test could throw at me, which prepared me very well for exam day. I highly recommend Blackstone to anybody trying to prepare for the LSAT!
Mimi is a sweetheart, and I'm sure her daughter who also teaches the class is great. This program is so affordable for how many classes, practice books and practice exams you get out of it. I know some private tutors that charge $400 PER HOUR or other class programs like Blackstone that charged so much more. I got a diagnostic score of 148; 146 on my second attempt at a diagnostic so decided to enroll in the class; and ended with a 162 after almost a year of studying. I'm so grateful for the staff and Mimi for helping me get into FSU Law. She emphasizes how her class is only 25% of the work and students have to put the other 75% 10/10 Recommend :)
