Interesting that a lady bases her entire assessment of a church and school on a cake purchase. It reflects how deep this person really is...which appears VERY shallow by her review. The school and church are wonderful! As a military family moving around A LOT (4x in 3 years as an example), we've attended various Catholic churches and schools around the country..and...Corpus Christi Catholic Church and School definitely ranks among our absolute favorites! Corpus Christi is a real community that cares about its families and students. To rate a church and school based on a mistake is truly moronic. Lily happens to be a highly intelligent, caring person that manages the Faith Formation at all stages in one's faith...from the younger children all the way to the adults. To the lady who can't over the cake incident...Cast not the first stone...Mistakes happen! I recommend that you try the church and school out first! You WILL fall in love with it as most people do!!! You Will find your Catholic Faith Family here! :)
Horrible! Spanish Mass, people and Priest it was the worst mass ever! ... Very disappointment. Is a God House for Jesus Christ!! Please!, people it was around talking do not respect other people private space to trying to pray. Kids running around the church, teenager in and out from the church, babies crying and yelling, parents do not have control over them. People using their phones during the mass and the worst scenario was when people it was doing the line for having the ash, this lady starting to take pictures or recording, Im not sure, to someone she know or family. For sure is not a God House looks like a park, very distracting is like a circus. And that happened Yesterday on Ash Wednesday Feb 10 at 8pm. And my last comment because I am in SHOCK!!! , and I explain myself....they starting to do the announcement , I guess is something usually doing after the mass, And starting to talked about the protest in the Sheriff Office today (02/11/2016) to help Hispanic and black kids are in jail because they did something wrong ("minor") likes, fighting at school or marijuana posses and looking for the Law help to be more soft with this type of situation or cases. For me, (I just want to make clear, is my perception) that is wrong!, because you are responsible for your actions. But anyways, my point is... the PRIEST said: "This is only happened with the Hispanic and black family because if is a white family with money this not happen to them. WHAT OF THE WORLD!!!!!! how he dare to said something like that!? , He is a peace figure in that moment he bring a racist thought to all the people was in the mass. Divide white, black and Hispanic families. I am very disappointment for sure I do not go anymore there and Hoping someone with common sense read this comment and do something about it. In God House you are going looking for peace and pray and feel comfortable, looking for answers for your soul. Review about church. Great church, priests are wonderful, the know the Bible well. I like the Sunday morning masses. Very refreshing for the soul. Thursday night Bible study classes are informative.
