We had a great time!! It was just two of us. We had a rocky start and had given up from frustration. We told the staff the same. ???? They encouraged us to keep going and provided a clue that brought the clues in sync for us. All in all a great experience for first timers. Recommend and will definitely go again!!
So I want to start off by saying that we have done a lot of escape rooms all around the state of Florida. We went to do the death at the disco and the lady we were greeted by was extremely pleasant. When it comes to the escape room I would not recommend if you are used to doing real escape rooms. The room was just a small office space with stuff thumbtacked to the walls. The clues were easy and the room did not follow any rind of story line. If you have never done an escape room before this could be a good one to get your feet wet but if you have done any before I would stay away if you do not want to be disappointed. It's a shame because the employees here were so nice.
The team was very welcoming and nice. My friends and I did the 90s theme room which was nicely decorated. The clues were helpful but just vague enough for us to need to think. Overall, a pleasant experience. (:
I made an impromptu visit with some friends here and they were ready for us right away. It was a lot of fun! Hosts were nice. Good for kids. I’d take my family here for a fun night out. I’ll have to come back again sometime!
I guess I should have read the reviews before I scheduled for this location. I agree with one of the folks, the person who assisted us was very nice. I have completed many escape rooms across the city and all of them had multiple rooms, multiple tips you could have without taking away from the time. The walkie talkie did not work for obtaining hints :( I was embarrassed since I had brought my friend for her first escape room. I would recommend the owners go to some of the others that are in Brandon area.
